This English translation of Política de cookies is provided for convenience. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Spanish version prevails.
Summary
This website does not use analytics, advertising, profiling or third-party tracking cookies. Nor does it embed external media players, maps or chats.
We count visits without cookies and without storing anything on your device: only the page, the time and where the visit came from. Our privacy policy explains it.
It stores only two technical values in your own browser: that you have already seen the notice and, if you choose one, the language you prefer for the website. That is why there is no settings panel with categories: there are no categories to configure.
What a cookie is and what local storage is
A cookie is a small file that a website stores in your browser and that is sent back to the server on every visit. Local storage (localStorage) is similar, but the data stays in your browser and is not sent to the server.
The law (Article 22.2 of the LSSI-CE, the Spanish Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce Act) treats both in the same way, so both are explained here.
Exactly what we store
Two local storage values, first-party and strictly technical:
- Name: axiren_cookie_choice. Purpose: to remember whether you accepted or declined the notice, so that it is not shown to you again. Type: first-party local storage. Duration: until you delete it from your browser. Data it contains: the word ‘accepted’ or ‘declined’, nothing else.
- Name: axiren-idioma. Purpose: to remember the language you chose (Spanish or English), so that the other one is not suggested to you again. It is stored only when you choose a language in the language selector or in the suggestion. Type: first-party local storage. Duration: until you delete it from your browser. Data it contains: ‘es’ or ‘en’, nothing else.
- No identifier that could be used to recognise you is stored, and none of this data is shared with third parties or leaves your device.
Why we do not ask for prior consent
Because this storage is exempt from the consent requirement: it is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for (not seeing the notice again, and seeing the website in the language you chose), in accordance with Article 22.2 LSSI-CE and the guidance of the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos (AEPD, the Spanish Data Protection Agency). Even so, we show the notice so that you know this storage exists.
How to delete or block it
You can delete the website's data or block storage in your browser's privacy settings (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and the others let you do this under ‘Site data’ or similar). You can also browse in a private window.
If you delete this data, the notice will appear again on your next visit and the website may suggest the other language to you again. Nothing else on the website stops working.
Other linked websites
The links to OnTrain (ontrain.app) and OnChats (onchats.app) lead to separate websites, each with its own cookie policy. This website does not send them any information about you when it links to them.
If this changes
If in the future we add analytics with cookies, advertising pixels, an external chat or any tool that uses third-party cookies, we will update this policy and ask for your prior, informed and granular consent, which you will be able to refuse as easily as you can give it.
